Pete Doherty Blake Fielder-Civil's pen pal
Blake Fielder-Civil has been getting tips on how to deal with the festive season behind bars from another former celebrity prison expert Pete Doherty. Amy Winehouses husband has apparently been struggling in Londons Pentonville Prison while waiting trial over assault and trial-fixing claims wrote to Doherty for advice. But Babyshambles Pete who is well versed in the art of the prison cell has become Blakes pen pal. Pete is also updating Blake about life on the outside and has vowed to look after his troubled wife Amy. A pal told the sun newspaper: "Blake feels very vulnerable. As well as threats he faces in jail, he fears Amys friends will use his time in prison to come between them and try to split them up. "He has asked Pete to look after Amy and fight his corner to make sure he doesnt get shut out. "Pete has a soft spot for Blake, who has always idolised him, and has promised to do his best." Well, I hope it wasnt taking Petes advice that caused Blake to fail a recent prison drugs test.
Advice from Pete Doherty sounds like a recipe for disaster.
