Pete Doherty is making the most of his recent freedom by booking a solo gig just days after he is released from prison.
The former Libertines rocker, who has suffered from a drug addiction, was jailed in May after pleading guilty to the possession of cocaine. He walked free on Tuesday after serving less than his six month sentence.
Doherty wasted little time in moving on from his brief spell behind bars as he will be onstage at The Blues Kitchen in Camden on Saturday afternoon.
The Babyshambles star woes aren't over. German authorities plan to press charges against the singer for his part in an alleged burglary of a record store in March.
Doherty faces the possibility of a five year sentence if convicted on a charge of 'careless intoxication'. He admits to being outside the store in Regensburg, but denies any link to the break in.
