Paul Weller is hoping he never becomes strapped for cash, as he would be forced to reform the Jam to pay the bills.
The British rocker's iconic group split in 1982 and Weller has frequently ruled out a reunion wit his former bandmates Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler.
Recent reunions of British bands include the Stone Roses, Pulp and Blur have caused speculation about a reunion for The Jam reforming, but Weller insists this would only be for the money, and he hopes he'll never be poor.
He tells Shortlist magazine: "Money talks, doesn't it?... (But) hopefully I'll never be that skint, mate."
