Ozzy Osbourne 'Doesn't Understand' Iraq War.... Rocker Ozzy Osbourne has vowed never to become a placard-toting protestor over the War in Iraq - because he doesn't understand it.The Black Sabbath star has ruled out any appearances as an activist at London's Hyde Park, but laments the futility of war.He says, "It's more that I don't understand the war. If you're on one side, and I'm on the other, and you get killed and I get killed, we've both lost."I'd have thought people would have learned, humanity would've learned. But I'm not turning into one of those f**kers, green people you know, going around Hyde Park, saying, 'Stop the War'. That's not me."But Osbourne does admit his feelings towards global issues play a big part in his songwriting - especially military conflict.He explains, "If something affects me, it comes out in my work. I can't write boy meets girl, y'know, 'Sharon I miss you', all that. I can't write, 'Ho ho, what a lovely day' when all those soldiers have been wounded."
