One Direction's 2013 Calendar

One Direction have topped another chart, with the band’s official calendar becoming the biggest selling calendar in the history of online store Amazon.

With less than a month until the start of the new year, the boy bands calendar has sold nearly three times as many editions as their nearest rival Tom Daley.

Darren Hardy, books manager at Amazon.co.uk said; “There are certainly many walls in many homes across the UK that are going to be enhanced for a full 12 months by images of the One Direction boys”

He continued to say that; “Before 2011, no one could ever get near Cliff Richard at the top of the calendar charts but with a second year at the top spot, there is no doubting that One Direction have taken the crown as Britain’s favourite pin ups.”

It’s not only the boys from One Direction who are on top of the pile, as most of the list is highly bloke based, with Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue the only women in the top ten.

It’s also a highly musically based top twenty, with only Tom Daley (number 2 on the list), Keith Lemon (8), Kelly Brook (12) and Pollyanna Woodward (19) the only non-singers on the list.
