Nicki Minaj in mourning after the murder of cousin
Nicki Minaj has been left devastated after the murder of her cousin.
The Super Bass singer tweeted about her cousin Nicholas, who was killed in New York on Sunday.
Sharing the sad news with her fans Minaj wrote: "Lived in Brooklyn his whole life. My precious cousin. My baby. Killed last nite. My cousin Nicholas. Also goes by Juse... Murdered. Last nite. Near his home. Brooklyn, NY."
The star also posted pictures of her late cousin on her Twitter.com page.
Her news made fans across the world send their condolences to the hip-hop star, and R&B singer Jordin Sparks was one of the first famous names to express her sorrow.
The former American Idol winner wrote: "Nicki Minaj sending love & prayers to you and your family."
