Nick Mason is wary of reuniting with his Pink Floyd bandmates, conceding they will only stage a comeback if they can be 'a real force for change'.
Mason and David Gilmour joined Roger Waters on stage during his solo gig in London in May, following months of rumours about the group reforming.
Waters insisted the appearance would be a one-off, explaining he had "no wish" to be in the band again - and Mason agrees with his pal.
But he admits he may be tempted to reform with his friends if they could help a cause similar to Bob Geldof's Live Aid fundraiser.
Mason tells the Toronto Sun: "There are two elements to it (reuniting), really. One is how Roger and Dave actually felt about working with each other, and whether there was some advantage in it - that they would get something from it or achieve something they can't on their own.
"And the other thing would be wanting to do something that could be a real force for change, a grander version of Live 8 driven by someone even more major than Bob Geldof - someone who could say, 'Look, we could put this event on and it would transform the Middle East peace process.'"
