Neal Schon visited his son's former school last week
Neal Schon surprised students at his son's former high school by attending the kids' Christmas tree sale and donating a signed guitar.
The Journey guitarist visited the San Rafael High School in the San Francisco Bay area of California earlier this week.
He purchased one of the trees from the sale, which raises money for the institution's music program.
He also donated a guitar signed by his Journey bandmates as well as two autographed CDs, according to TMZ.com.
