Nick Cave was hunting for a new guitarist
Aussie rock legend Nick Cave has hired The Saints star Ed Kuepper as the new guitarist to replace departing Bad Seeds rocker Mick Harvey.
Founding member Harvey quit the band last month blaming "a variety of personal and professional reasons". He vowed to remain friends with Cave - with whom he formed the group back in 1983 - and continue to work with the Bad Seeds on reissue projects.
But Cave has moved swiftly to replace him in the studio and on the stage, in the form of fellow Aussie Kuepper - who will kick off his first tour with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds in June.
