Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, will.i.am and DJ Samantha Ronson are doing their bit for charity as they complie playlists of their favourite songs for a special fundraising auction.
The stars are the latest celebrities to share their love for music with fans on exclusive new one-of-a-kind iPods, following in the footsteps of Mariah Carey, Faith Hill and Gwen Stefani.
They have filled their MP3 players with their own downloaded delights as part of a drive to benefit Music Rising, an organisation that replaces lost or destroyed instruments in the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Gulf Coast region.
The latest iPods, which have been signed by the trio, are currently being auctioned off on the Tonic.com website - and many more stars are set to add their own personal playlists to iPods in coming months.
Among will.i.am's hot picks are Public Enemy's Fight the Power, A Tribe Called Quest's Bonita Apple Bum and Frank Sinatra's The Girl >From Ipanema, while Madden rocks out to Blink 182's Stay Together for the Kids, Weezer's Butterfly, and Let's Ride by rapper The Game.
Ronson's playlist includes pal Lily Allen's The Fear, Bring on the Lucie by John Lennon and Britney Spears' new single Circus.
