We’ve all enjoyed a bit of karaoke over the years. Be it the drunken works do or just suddenly being consumed by the all-consuming need to murder your favourite songs, we've all got on that mic and let a rip.
In their infinite wisdom though, the Official Charts Company have decided to find out what the most popular songs are for amateur singers looking for a good time.
Having got together a list of the top 100, they’ve teamed up with Magic, who will be showing the countdown with a little help from H from Steps, who’s hosting the show today from 12pm.
We’ve been able to get a sneaky peek though at the results and have got the top ten list for you below.
1) Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody
2) John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John – You’re The One That I Want
3) Stevie Wonder – I Just Called To Say I Love You
4) Aqua – Barbie Girl
5) Cher – Believe
6) Bryan Adams – (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
7) John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John – Summer Nights
8) Britney Spears – Hit Me Baby One More Time
9) Culture Club – Karma Chameleon
10) The Village People – YMCA
While it’s no shock that Queen’s sing-a-long classic is at the top of the pile, Aqua being in the top five speaks wonders for the power of novelty Euro-pop.
