Festivals are great and all, but wouldn’t it be great to get all the music and atmosphere without the camping and muddy wellies?
Well for you with a case of mud-phobia and a taste for the highlife, the perfect festival has been announced for you. Luxury festival Offshore will get its inaugural outing in September 2013, with tickets available from later this month.
Offshore’s going the whole hog when it comes to the luxury treatment, with the 2,500 guests not only getting the regular old festival boons of live music, but a sun-drenched cruise to boot.
It all will take place on The Norwegian Jade, a liner so luxurious that it has its own art gallery, champagne bar, casino and spa as well as the regular old pool and gym.
The ship will tour around the Mediterranean Sea, departing from Venice and visiting Dubrovnik, Athens and Ephesus along its seven day excursion.
While no artists have been confirmed yet (the line-up will be confirmed in the next months), Offshore are claiming to have 18 bands, world class DJs as well as some comedians along for the ride.
No-matter who gets put on the playlist, Offshore looks like a real one-off event for music fans.
