Morrissey stormed off stage and cut short the final gig of his North American tour after slamming security officials for ejecting fans from the venue.
The former The Smiths frontman was wrapping up his 22-date trek in Royal Oak, Michigan but the show ended on a sour note when fans attempted to storm the stage during an encore.
Several revellers were forcibly ejected from the venue, and after imploring the security team to "steady on", the rocker walked off stage mid-song, telling the audience they should "thank the security guards" for the abandoned show.
Morrissey's tour of the US and Mexico experienced several setbacks - the first show, in Chicago, Illinois was scrapped over a problem with guitarist Boz Boorer's visa, and a later concert in Oakdale, California was also cancelled when drummer Matt Walker suffered a mystery eye injury.
