Miranda Lambert loves the programme
Miranda Lambert has landed a role in her favourite TV drama.
The Country star will make her acting debut on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and she is thrilled.
In a tweet to fans, she writes: "Yall I’m so freaking excited to be on my favorite show ever!!!"
In the episode, the star will play an actress who claims to have been sexually assaulted by a reality TV producer, played by This Is... Spinal Tap star Michael McKean, according to TVGuide.com.
She won't be the only singer in the episode - Harry Connick Jr., who is slated to play series regular Mariska Hargitay's love interest on the show in 2012, will also appear.
