Miranda Lambert celebrated her birthday in style in the early honours of Thursday at the CMA Awards post-show party.
The newly-wed country singer, who picked up the Female Vocalist of the Year award at the Country Music Association ceremony, was still stunned by the victory when she turned 28 hours later when she turned 28 hours later.
She tweeted to her fans: "Happy Birthday is an understatement. I turned 28 at 12:08 am. I can't believe this is my life... Thank you country music fans and peers. Last night was amazing."
It's not the first time Lambert, who wed country music sar Blake Shelton earlier in the year, has celebrated her birthday at the ceremony, as last year's CMA fell on her 27th birthday where she scooped Song, Video and Album of the Year honour and was named Female Vocalist of the Year for the first time.
