A court has rejected a bid from Michael Jackson's father to challenge the administrators of the late superstar's estate
Officials at the California Court of Appeal have ruled that the 82 year old has no right to intervene in the estate, affirming a probate judge's ruling in November.
Joe Jackson had been fighting the decision in order to obtain more control over financial matters, despite the fact the singer had excluded him from his will in 2002.
The Thriller hitmaker died in June, 2009 and his estate has since amassed a $275 million fortune.
