Michael Jackson’s siblings have given the producers of a Las Vegas birthday tribute to the King of Pop their blessing, insisting the late star would have been honoured by the spectacle.
The Jackson family is endorsing a Las Vegas-planned tribute to Michael on what would’ve been the King of Pop’s 51st birthday.
Palms Hotel and Casino bosses hope to stage the show on 29 August (09) - Jackson's 51st birthday - and they've been given the thumbs up by the pop star's family.
Michael’s sister La Toya says, "While my family and I continue to mourn the loss of our beloved Michael, it warms our hearts to know of the very special event happening in Las Vegas on my brother’s birthday.
"Michael’s true love was his music and his fans, and I am quite certain he would be honoured, to know of his music and talent being celebrated in such a wonderful manner."
