Despite us getting all excited at the prospect of being able to buy that Spice Girls Impulse body spray again, it looks as though the girls won’t be returning to take over the world once more.
Melanie Chisholm has dashed all hopes of a Spice Girls comeback tour after announcing that they’re all too busy to be gallivanting around the world. Erm, sorry, but busy with what exactly?
It was reported last month that Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell would be trying to get famous again with a comeback tour (obviously Victoria Beckham is famous enough these days) but Sporty Spice has rubbished any chance of that happening.
"There's no chance of that happening," Chisholm told The Daily Star; "Don't believe what you've read elsewhere, because I'm telling [you that] we have no plans to tour again. We all have our own projects going on and have families too so we couldn't find the time even if we wanted to."
