It looks as though The X Factor's reign over the Christmas charts could have reared it's ugly head once again as rumour has it that he’s most definitely on track for the Christmas number one.
According to whispers, the singing competition winner has already shifted a whopping 112,000 copies of When We Collide - a rip-off of the Biffy Clyro track, Many Of Horror - since it's Monday morning digital release, and it on hit shop shelves today!
So, despite the rebel set getting Rage Against The Machine to the topspot last year, it looks as though too many anti-x factor contenders have come out of the woodwork this year that any folk wanting to get 'something else' to number one are spread across a number of campaigns, rather than just one.
History is unlikely repeat itself as this year’s most prolific anti-X Factor tune – a cover of John Cage’s silent song, The Sounds of Silence – is currently limping up the chart and at this rate, it will be lucky to make it into the Top 20.
