Mary J. Blige doesn’t seem bothered about finding the next David Archuleta (yes I still love him!) and has denied reports she's set to replace Paula Abdul as a permanent judge on reality TV competition American Idol.
The No More Drama hitmaker was booked as a guest panellist on the singing competition after Abdul's departure in August.
Idol producers have also roped in Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Shania Twain and Neil Patrick Harris to critique contestants alongside original judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi on the upcoming season.
However, Blige insists she's not considering taking a permanent seat on the show. She tells the New York Daily News, "I'm not gonna be the next Paula Abdul. There was, maybe, three women that were incredible and three guys. The rest of it? A lot of it was like, "You can't be serious!"
