MAROON 5's concert in St. Louis, Missouri at the weekend was cancelled due to heavy thunderstorms in the area.
The band was due to perform at the Fair St. Louis event on Sunday, but bad weather forced organisers to call the show off at the last minute.
Frontman Adam Levine posted a series of messages on Twitter.com leading up to the concert warning fans the gig could be scrapped.
He wrote: "Crazy thunder and lightning in St. Louis. Sounds like God is not in the mood to hear Maroon 5 tonight... Not sure about the show yet. Just want to let you all know that it's not our call... we will keep you posted."
After finally learning the event had been axed, Levine apologised to fans, adding: "Just watched the local news report that Fair St. Louis has been cancelled due to weather. I'm so sorry guys. This sucks. Again we are so sorry about this. Unfortunately it was completely out of our control. We owe you one St. Louis."
