Shock Rocker Marilyn Manson was turned away from a German cathedral - because he was wearing lipstick. The eccentric rocker was in Cologne for an exhibition of 33 of his bizarre watercolour paintings at a gallery in the city on Wednesday.Earlier in the day Manson had gone sightseeing and decided hed visit the holy building.Manson denied he was banned because of his Satanic views following Christian groups in America heavilly critcising the star for albums such as Antichrist Superstar. Marilyn didn't think cathedral staff recognised him and told reporters: "They didn't let me in because I was wearing lipstick, limiting the 38-year-old to peeing through the doors.Manson said afterwards that the cathedral was, "one of the most beautiful places that I've ever seen."Manson's controversial painting exibition includes subjects such as late Superman actor Christopher Reeve and Nazi terror leader Adolf Hitler, who is depicted as a transsexual creature with breasts.He said: "Either you like them or you don't."
