Marie Osmond Fights Back Tears, Pays Tribute To Late Dad....

Singer Marie Osmond tearfully paid tribute to her late father George on U.S. TV show Oprah on Friday (09Nov07), describing him as "my rock".More than 120 members of the Osmond family, including Marie's brother Donny, joined host Oprah Winfrey to tape a special tribute to clan patriarch George on Wednesday (07Nov07).The 90-year-old was supposed to join his relatives for the TV special, which aired on Friday, but he died on Tuesday (06Nov07).Fighting back tears, Marie told Winfrey, "My father is my hero and I will miss that the most. He was my rock, my strength."She added, "We talked about it and my father would want us all to be here. He loved his family."The complete Osmond family buried George in Provo, Utah on Friday (09Nov07).
