Madonna’s tragic stage collapse has claimed another life after the injuries caused this morning left the man fighting for his life.
Sadly, the victim - who is believed to be a British man who worked on the set - had been rushed to intensive care after the accident left him in a critical condition yesterday, but the injuries were too severe for him to recover.
This is the second death as a result of the stage collapse, as a French worker was killed immediately after a partially-built roof collapsed at the Velodrome stadium in Marseilles.
In total, it is thought that eight others have been injured in the accident, with five still in serious condition’s in hospital. Yesterday, Madonna released a statement expressing her "deepest sympathy" for those affected by the tragedy.
The Queen Of Pop's 'Sticky and Sweet' concert, which had been scheduled to take place in the city on Sunday night has been cancelled.
