Madonna defends 'father-figure' boyfriend aged 24
Madonna has defended her decsision to date a much younger man, insisting her 24-year-old boyfriend is a great role model for her young sons.
The Like a Virgin singer, 53, has been dating French dancer Brahim Zaibat for ovder a year and says that he has become a positive father figure on her son's Rocco and David.
She tells Harper's Bazaar: ""(My sons) need a male role model as well. So I need to keep this in mind: What is this person modelling to my sons? What kind of man is he? What values does he have? What energy is he giving off?"
Zaibat is only nine years older than Madonna's eldest child, daughter Lourdes.
