Loretta Lynn has postponed all shows in the near future as she is to have knee reconstruction surgery.
Her upcoming concerts in Montana, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington are all to be rescheduled.
Doctors have told Lynn to rest over the summer.
A statement from the Coal Miner's Daughter singer says: "I'm sad to have to cancel any shows for my fans, but they tell me I've just got to stay off this knee for a while."
The songwriter was taken to hospital last month as a result of dehydration and heat exhaustion.
Her next performance is scheduled for 3 September at her ranch in Tennessee.
