Lily Allen has hit out at the media and accused journalists of "bullying" her.The Smile hitmaker is convinced she was unfairly targeted following the recent GQ Men of the Year Awards in London.She made headlines after a drunken on-stage spat with Sir Elton John, in which the Rocket Man star sneered at her excessive consumption of the event's free champagne.But the singer insists the incident was just friendly banter which was misinterpreted by the media, and accuses the press of treating her unfairly.She writes on her MySpace.com internet page, "I have felt really very bullied this week. It's hurtful, but it's fine if you want to print a picture of me and say how awful I look, how much weight I've put on or how terrible my choice of clothes were that day."In my opinion it's still a form of bullying and if anyone spoke to any of my friends like that to their faces I'd want to kill them. But character assassination is another thing. It's just not needed."
