Lil Wayne disappointed scores of fans on Monday by failing to turn up to a gig in Boston, Massachusetts.The hip-hop star was slated to appear at the Monster Jam concert alongside other headline acts including Jay-Z and Ne-Yo.However, the Lollipop hitmaker reportedly refused to comply with security procedures at the TD Banknorth Garden venue and pass through a metal detector, according to the Boston Herald newspaper.Lil Wayne is then said to have left, without performing - leaving his fans waiting anxiously for an hour.But the concert was saved when rap superstar Jay-Z extended his set to fill the gap, returning to the stage after his slot to boost the crowd with a series of impromptu songs.
