Liam Gallagher's new clothing venture has been given a seal of approval by the fashion industry - the rocker picked up a prestigious prize for his Pretty Green brand at a ceremony in London on Wednesday night (17Nov10).
The former Oasis frontman, who launched the company in June last year (09), was celebrated for his contribution to fashion at the Drapers Awards, where he was presented with the Menswear Brand Of The Year honour.
The rocker saw off competition from style heavyweights including Paul Smith, Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger to take the coveted prize.
As he picked up his trophy, Gallagher told the crowd, "Myself... and the team are absolutely buzzing that Pretty Green has won a Drapers Award; which is a massive achievement for such a young brand."
