Lady Gaga to appear on The Simpsons
Lady Gaga is set to appear as a guest on The Simpsons as herself.
The You & I singer will star in an upcoming episode called Lisa Goes Gaga - as Lisa Simpson's self-esteem coach.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about the experience
of becoming her cartoon character, she says: ""I make music, but I don’t do voice overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humour.
Just as in real life, the animated Gaga is something of a fashionista who appears in a varitety of wardrobe changes. The pop star cannot wait for people to see her latest work.
Gaga adds: "I would say this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done... My dad’s probably going to do 80 back flips when the episode comes out."
The episode will air next spring.
