Nathan Followill has laughed off claims that the Kings of Leon have fired frontman Caleb Followill.
The band have cancelled the remaining dates of their US tour last month after Caleb walked off stage midway through the groups opening show in Dallas after complaining about the intense heat and problems with his voice.
He was then told by doctors to rest his vocal cords for a whole month, but unexpectedly cut short the tour which led to rumours of trouble behind the scenes between brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared and their cousing Matthew Followill.
America's Star magazine claims the singer's bandmates 'had started to resent Caleb's antics as he was late to rehearsals, neglectful of band meetings and displaying diva traits' and had therefore been kicked out of the band.
Drummer Nathan dismissed the claims and instead poked fun at the tabloid in a post on his Twitter page.
In a message to fans he writes: "Breaking News: Kings of Leon has kicked Caleb out and Jared and Matt will be taking over lead vocals. Where do people come up with this s**t? Hilarious."
