Judge Fed Up With 'no Show' Kid Rock....
Kid Rock has been slammed by a judge for failing to show up for a court-ordered deposition.Judge Shalina Kumar blasted the rap/rocker after he failed to show up for a deposition that she had ordered to take place by the end of October (07).She asked his attorney, William Horton, "What's special about him? Why does he get to violate a court's order?"She proceeded to throw out a lawsuit the 36-year-old filed earlier this year (07) against Kelly Ann Kozlowski, a woman he said embarrassed and defamed him in a police report, at California's Oakland County Circuit Court hearing on Wednesday (14Nov07).Kozlowski claims Rock - real name Robert James Ritchie - became violent with her outside his Clarkston, Oakland, recording studio on 8 March (07). Her allegations were investigated by authorities, but no charges were brought.The judge also entered a default against Rock in Kozlowski's complaint, which seeks more than $25,000 (£12,500) in damages. The ruling means Rock will be unable to contest Kozlowski's lawsuit at a trial set for early next year (05Feb08).Last month (21Oct07) Rock was charged with misdemeanour battery stemming from an arrest after a brawl at an Atlanta Waffle House. He also had a scuffle with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee at the Mtv Video Music Awards in Las Vegas in September (07), though charges against him were eventually dropped. Both musicians are ex-husbands of Pamela Anderson.
