Kenny Chesney has cemented his King Of Country title after selling out Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Lincoln Financial Field in just 15 minutes yesterday (05Mar07).The singer had his first hit in 1995 with 'Fall in Love' but he didn't hit the number one spot until August 1997 with 'She's Got it All' which spent three weeks at the top of the Billboards country chart.This was followed by a string of number one and number two hits over the next eight years. In February 2006 the singer hit a musical milestone when he was presented with a plague to celebrate the sale of 25 million albums. And 2007 saw the counrty singer picked up the People's Choice Award for best male vocalist of the year. But he is perhaps better known for his celebrity marriage to Renee Zellweger in 2005. The filed for divorce after only four months on the grounds of fraud.It's the second stadium show the singer sold out in 15 minutes - fans also rushed to buy tickets for a show in Massachusetts. The 23 June (07) show in Philadelphia will also feature performances from Brooks & Dunn, Pat Green, Sugarland and Sara Evans.
