Phillip Hill, Garry Jenkins, David Powell and Charles Breslin were killed after they became trapped in the Sansea Valley mine on Thursday morning.

The Swansea Valley Miners Appeal Fund was set up to help the grieving relatives of the tragic miners, and the British Public have raised £50,000 in donations.

Now Jones is asking for more donations, and reveals the incident is close to his heart due to his family ties to the mining community.

He says: "Having two grandfathers and many family members as miners it was devastating."
