Katy Perry and Usher helped entertain families of those in the military, as they headlined the Kids Inaugural Concert at the Washington Convention Center thrown as part of the celebrations around Barack Obama’s official inauguration this week.
They were also treated to Glee cast members Darren Criss, Naya Rivera and Amber Riley taking the stage and Nick Cannon hosting the event.
Perry, decked out in an Uncle Sam-style corset, performed a selection of hits including Teenage Dream and Firework, all backed with a video montage including photos of American President Barack Obama with children.
That wasn’t the only performance of the weekend though in the nation’s capital, with Will.I.Am, Common and others performing for young voters in Washington too.
