Kate Nash has swapped singing for teaching duties - she's running after-school music clubs for children across the U.K.
The Foundations hitmaker has travelled to six different schools over the last 10 months to teach students how to play instruments and encourage them to work towards a career in the music industry.
Nash also revealed in a post written for CollapseBoard.com that she's been giving them talks on how to work for a record label.
But the singer was left shocked when the female students didn't believe they could forge a career in music and blamed celebrity culture for their concerns.
She writes: "I think this has had a terrible effect on young people. Particularly girls. All these years of feminist history, women fighting it out against sexism, against themselves and against society and still the main thing we are judged on is our body, our face and what we are doing to climb the ladder.
"Being satisfied with having a career as a musician and a songwriter leaves me feeling like a freak for not wanting to better myself by becoming more famous for selling songs to adverts, appearing on The X Factor or getting my t**s out in some lads mag."
