Notorious rock and roll firebrands Kasabian are ready to dust off their salopettes and mittens and set fire to the après-ski celebrations as they prepare to headline the exceptional Snowbombing festival in 2013!

Acclaimed as one of the hottest and most exhilarating live acts on earth, Kasabian will be leaving behind the stadiums and arenas they’re accustomed to in favour of a truly unique gig encircled by crisp winter air and snow-capped mountain peaks.

Their eagerly anticipated appearance will provide a suitably out-of-this-world climax to an event without rival - "the greatest show on snow"!

The Leicestershire lads will not only be appearing at the apex of the festival’s line up, but will also be scaling the hillsides to another summit as they perform a second and completely exclusive and intimate show 6000 feet up on the powder-topped crest of a mountain.

Kasabian’s Sergio Pizzorno says: "We have heard amazing things about Snowbombing over the years. Dance music has always been a massive influence on us so we are very exited to play this iconic event."

The world’s premier alpine music festival has today announced an additional avalanche of outstanding live acts for their 2013 event, taking place in Mayrhofen, Austria between 1-6 April.

Dexterous electro-pop superstar Example steps up to the party in the forest. Now firmly established as a main stage festival act, this will be Elliot Gleave’s first open-air alpine appearance.

With a voice as pure and crystal clear as an alpine spring morning, Katy B brings her sweet, vocalised dubstep, R&B and UK garage sensibilities to the mountains.

Snowbombing is a festival renowned for the wide spectrum of dance artists invited to perform - from international legends to the most exciting emerging talent.

Teenage brothers in rhythm, Disclosure effortlessly combine the 2-step garage rhythms and dubstep basslines of the underground Croydon scene with their own rich musical heritage of soul and garage music.
