Late country legend Johnny Cash’s strained relationship with his singer/songwriter daughter Rosanne is the subject of a new tell-all book.
Grammy-winner Rosanne Cash is struggling to reconcile her relationship with The Ring of Fire hitmaker - who died in 2003 - according to author Michael Streissguth's upcoming book The List: Rosanne Cash's Search for Legacy.
Streissguth claims the 53-year-old singer is recording her new covers album The List - comprised of her father's favourite tunes - to finally mend their relationship; he writes, "It's never been easy for her to reconcile her relationship with her father. She's grateful every day while trying to fend off the bitterness that a drug- addicted, absentee parent left behind. Rosanne remains a daughter in search of a father."
The novel is scheduled to hit shelves in October.
