'That will be $12,000, Mrs Cash.' Mom didn't miss a beat. 'I'll be paying with American Express.' "Panhandlers also hit the jackpot: "When a homeless lady asked her for money . . Mom reached into her pocketbook and pulled out a $100 (£50) bill."
