John Lennon's son Sean hit New York with fellow musician Rufus Wainwright on Sunday to serenade the Occupy Wall Street protestors with an acoustic version of Madonna's Material Girl.
The singers are the latest stars to lend their support to those campaigning against social inequality and corporate greed, putting on the impromptu performance in Manhattan's Zuccutti Park, which has become a makeshift base for protesters.
Lennon and Wainwright were accompanied by a number of guitarists and an accodio player as they belted the odd song choice.
They are not the only famous faces that have been spotted at the site, veteran folk singer Pete Seeger entertained crowds in the early hours of Saturday morning, performing We Shall Overcome, while rapper Russell Simmons, comedian Russell Brand and his popstar wife Katy Perry have also been seen at the Park.
The growing list of celebrity supporters includes Susan Sarandon, rocker Tom Merello, Kanye West, Alec Baldwin and Tim Robbins.
