A John Lennon statue has had to be removed after it was constantly destroyed by vandals.
The bronze memorial, which stands outside the town hall in Almeria, Spain, is covered in paint and the guitar neck broken after a series of attacks.
The glasses have also been broken from his face and the town hall has now given up on repairing it and will take it down.
The sculpture was erected two years ago to pay homage to Strawberry Fields Forever, which the late Beatle wrote in the city.
Creator Carmen Mudarra said: "These are not casual acts of vandalism. They went there with the intention of damaging it."
Don't youths have any respect for great music these days?
