Joe McElderry might have missed out on the Christmas number one by Rage Against The Machine, but it seems as though he will be beating his mentor Cheryl Cole in the charts, as she struggled to make an impact with her new single.
Cheryl’s latest release, 3 Words is failing to make a decent inroad into the charts, whilst Joe’s The Climb is looking set for the top of the charts this weekend as it finally sells more copies than RATM’s Killing In The Name.
Even more interestingly though, Journey hit Don't Stop Believin', which was made popular again after Joe sang it on the X factor and it was tipped to be ‘the winners song‘ is also tipped to chart higher than Miss Cole.
So, have you bought any of the tracks, and do you think Cheryl‘s music career could be sinking before it‘s even began?
