Jim Jones was arrested in New York City on yesterday (March 30th) after being accused of driving on a suspended licence.
This is the latest in a string of legal woes for the rapper.
Last year a battery charge was dropped against him relating to an incident with a teenage fan in Florida as a result of insufficient evidence.
In the same year, he was ordered to take part in anger management classes after pleading guilty to attacking a driver after a car crash in January.
According to TMZ.com, Jones' attorney said the 34-year-old Diplomats star has been released from custody and given a desk appearance ticket.
