Initial findings in the investigation of the death of Marie Osmond’s son, Michael Blosil, suggest the teen took his own life.
Los Angeles police sources have confirmed the investigation into the tragedy will be handled by the Los Angeles County coroner's office, but early results suggest the depressed 18 year old committed suicide by jumping to his death on Friday night from a Los Angeles apartment building.
LAPD Lieutenant Paul Vernon tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper, "It appears it was a suicide. This is a young man from a close-knit family. It's very tragic."
Investigators believe Blosil, who was adopted by singer Osmond during her marriage to Brian Blosil, fell 15 storeys after jumping from a roof or balcony of the building where he lived. He left behind a suicide note.
