The handwritten lyrics to Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, the classic Beatles song, are going up for auction in LA next month.
Bosses at auction house Profiles in History expect the Fab Four treasure to fetch up the £187,500 when it goes under the hammer during a memorabilia sale on 14 and 15 May.
Lennon's draft contains the opening lyrics to the song that was inspired by one of his son Julian's nursery school drawings.
Along with the lyrics are designs for the cover of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album.
The weekend auction will also feature lots donated by filmmaker Frank Darabont and special effects and make-up guru Greg Nicotero, which are being sold to raise funds for the Red Cross to aid the charity's Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief efforts.
Other items up for auction include the car from beloved family film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and a handwritten 1924 letter from Walt Disney to Mickey Mouse creator Ub Iwerks.
