Gloris Gaynor who is most famous for her hit "I will survive". Gloria is studying psychology at college, so she can become a counsellor to teenage parents.
The disco queen wants to open a centre for troubled youths in New Jersey - and she hopes to become one of the people those in need turn to for help.
Her aim to help teenagers deal with issues that they are faced with at that age.
She tells WENN, "The centre is called Living Waters Teen Parents Center, which I hope will open around the end of 2012, beginning of 2013 in Newark, New Jersey, which is my hometown.
"I think I was born a teacher. I even try to teach through my music.
"As far as teaching young people how to have good relationships and maintain a family and help prevent more teenage pregnancy and grow up to be responsible contributing members of society, that's something that was dropped into my heart because I don't even know any teenage parents. I see a need and I want to fill it."
