A representative for British pop stars Girls Aloud has moved swiftly to dismiss a new report suggesting they are on the verge of a split.
The 'Love Machine' hitmakers are currently on hiatus and are widely expected to be planning a comeback to mark their 10-year anniversary next year.
The lack of an official announcement has led to speculation about the future of the band, and editors at a British magazine are preparing a cover story on the group's status this week - prompting an early denial from the band's spokesman.
In a post on Twitter.com on Monday, a Girls Aloud representative writes, "Just seen a weekly mag cover story on Girls Aloud.
"Bulls**tTuesday is back tomorrow. It's like they use GA whenever they're stuck for a cover - 'Let's just run another girls at war story'."
