Country superstar Garth Brooks is adding DJ to his resume by fronting a new satellite radio show.The 45-year-old will host the first show of a two-week stint on the Prime Country channel on Sirius Satellite Radio on Monday (05Nov07) to promote his upcoming album The Ultimate Hits, released next week (begs05Nov07).Brooks will play a mixture of his own material and his favourite songs. He'll also discuss his influences.Meanwhile in other country news Country stars Vince Gill and Mel Tillis and American TV personality Ralph Emery were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Sunday (28Oct07).Gill, 50, was praised for his successful music career with hits including When I Call Your Name and I Still Believe In You.Tillis was awarded the lifetime achievement accolade while Emery was selected in the non-performer category.Stars Emmylou Harris, Kenny Rogers and Al Anderson attended the ceremony at the Ford Theater in Nashville, Tennessee.
