Clinton's lawyers filed the copyright infringement suit in the US. District Court for the Central District of California on Friday.
In the court papers, the veteran star claims the Black Eyed Peas have cashed in on their 2003 track at his expense, thanks to various remixes released as a result of the chart smash.
Clinton alleges he never agreed to any use of Knee Deep by the Black Eyed Peas and he is seeking compensation for the complaint.
