'Engaged' Fergie Is Taking A Break....

Fergie's New Year's Resolution will disappoint fans - she's taking a break from performing to spend more time with her family.The Black Eyed Peas singer is exhausted after two long tours promoting the band's and her own solo material.She's also desperate to take some time out to enjoy her engagement to actor Josh Duhamel - which was announced on Christmas Day (25Dec07).Fergie says, "In 2008, I just want to have a balance. I've been touring for about four-and-a-half years straight. So for me, I love when I get to go home now and see my dogs."It's important for me to see more of my family, see more of my sister, my mom and dad."Latest: Black Eyed Peas star Fergie has told fans she is "the luckiest girl in the world" after sealing her engagement to actor Josh Duhamel.The couple, together for three years, revealed the big news on Christmas Day (25Dec07).And the singer - real name Stacy Ferguson - shared her excitement with concert-goers at her show in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday (29Dec07).

The 32-year-old said from the stage, "I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I'm thrilled."

She later dedicated track All That I Got to Duhamel, telling the crowd,"This song is about loving someone for their inner beauty. I hope you all have someone like that in your lives. I do."

But Fergie isn't sharing any information about her wedding, telling reporters, "I'm not giving any details. I think the fine points are sacred.

It's just important to us. It's hard for me because I have a big mouth."
